The Broadening Participation in Data Mining Program (BPDM) will hold it’s annual workshop at Howard University located in Washington D.C. February 2-4, 2019. As in previous editions, it is an excellent opportunity to learn and network with researchers and data scientists from academia, industry and government.
Undergraduates, Graduates, and Postdocs from underrepresented groups in Data Mining are encouraged to apply for travel scholarships by December 10, 2018 at https://goo.gl/forms/yRKrv0dmFusDEBoc2. Scholarships cover varying levels of travel expenses. Scholarship winners will be notified shortly after applications close.
This year, travel scholarships and speakers/mentors are provided by Google, iAAMCS, CRA-W, Capital One, and DO-IT: AccessComputing.
